Introduction
After Lully’s Thésée, the Opera continues its exploration of French baroque music and opera-ballet with this programme composed of excerpts from works by Rameau (Indes Galantes, Castor and Pollux, Les Paladins, etc.), as well as works by Couperin and De La Barre.
The Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin is one of the most remarkable and original ensembles in its area of speciality. Its exceptional arrival in Lille creates a nice echo to our ensemble in residence, the Concert d’Astrée.
