François VerretIntroduction
To realise this new creation presented at the Festival d’Avignon, François Verret has allied his fate with that of Moby Dick, Herman Melville’s famous novel. His approach however is not about adapting this great literary work; it is inspired by
the fierce and obsessive quest of one of its characters. Joining him on this adventure is a group of artists from diverse backgrounds - actors, musicians, dancers and circus artists - who convey this insatiable pursuit in their dance, movement, actions and images.
