Combining the lieder of Mahler and the polyphonies of the Congo, Alain Platel advances once again towards new discoveries, based on Philipp Blom’s essay The Vertigo Years. He still cultivates the path rather than the destination and provokes a multicultural encounter of musical universes and powerful visuals.
