We have had the opportunity to appreciate the rare gifts of Jean-Michel Dayez in 2013 in a  chamber music programme devoted to Janacek. Here he returns with Bach, alone, at the piano. Alternating chorals, fantaisies, fugues, inventions and the marvellous Italian concerto, this concert is deliberately positioned as a prelude to the premiere of Tauberbach by choreographer Alain Platel, presented in the Grande Salle. Bach is omnipresent, in the most inventive forms. Both shows are strongly recommended!
