The recent nomination of the tenor Cyrille Dubois as "Lyric Revelation" at the Victoires de la Musique Classique 2015 is sure to make this young French duo a staple on the major international stages … In this recital, they ask: is humanity at the heart of nature or is nature at the heart of humanity? We find this nature lovingly sung in the Lieder und Gesänge of Brahms, questioned by the recluse in the Hermit Songs of Barber, incarnated in the 4 chansons pour les oiseaux of the Bordelaise composer Louis Beydts, a close friend of Sasha Guitry… A dreamy hour of musical wanderings in search of an answer to these questions!
