Great hours of Italian opera await you in the halls of the Opera. The roiling wave of Verdi’s Il Trovatore, presented in the Great Hall from 14 January to 6 February, washes up into the Foyer with this programme proposed by the young soprano Elodie Hache. Carrying high the colours of the Paris Opera’s Atelier lyrique, where the press has already hailed her a “true tragedian” (Forum Opera), she interprets arias and duos from the great operas by Puccini, Mascagni, Leoncavallo, with tenor Hamadi Lagha. Bizet, with his unforgettable lyric characters, will not be excluded from this rendezvous devoted to the great works of the lyric repertoire.
