A four-hand harpsichord programme offering an hour of the highest classicism (Mozart and Haydn will be masters of ceremony) all the while cultivating a certain fantasy with lighter pieces as icing on a Viennese cake… Here we will discover the sonatas for piano four hands that Mozart composed for the duo he formed with his sister Nannerl, along with works of maturity of symphonic writing highly influenced by the Italian masters. These major works will be accompanied by smaller solo pieces, fantasies and variations.
