CHAMBER MUSIC

After a first disc devoted to Beethoven, the accomplished chamber musicians of the Leos Trio continue here their exploration of the repertoire with The Kakadu Variations – mixing strains of youth and maturity, and as their name indicates, drama and triviality. And since it is only a step between this giant and The Dwarf — the opera presented in November at the Lille Opera — we will discover the incandescent romanticism of Zemlinsky, with Fantasies for piano and a trio composed on the fading embers of the 19th century.
