There is no word in English to described this  blues, this Sehnsucht, this saudade, this nostalgic sadness that is rarely a pleasant sensation. The Athenian singer and pianist Kalliroi Raouzeou brings it to full vibration by blending the melancholic joy of the Greek rebetiko and the Portuguese fado. Accompanied by three musicians from Marseilles  well known to aficionados of jazz,  manouche, tzigane and Balkan music, she presents to us the FadoRebetiko, a quartet with horizons as broad as they are eclectic.
