"I have a particular connection with the music of Ginastera,  because throughout my childhood I heard the songs sung by my mother, ” explains the soprano Maya Villanueva. In 2016, she paid homage to the Argentinian composer by recording her complete set of songs with the cellist Patrick Langot and the pianist Romain David – a disc that quickly became a great success with  critics and the public. At times sentimental, eruptive, folkloric or spectacular, Ginastera’s fugue irradiates this concert with Iberian flavours.
