Directed by Yves Parmentier, the Lille Opera Choir celebrates its 10th anniversary this season. For the occasion, the members of the choir propose a Greatest Hits from a number of productions from recent years.
Over the past 10 years, other voices from lands near and far have also been invited onto the stage of the Opera, thanks to the faithful collaboration of Attacafa, which works to promote music from around the world. The Brown Sisters grew up in Chicago with the grand masters of jazz. Today considered one of the most prestigious jazz vocal groups, they make an exceptional visit to Lille. Taking turns as soloists, or playing with their voices in unison, they interpret the great American standards with an infectious generosity. Invited to the big jazz festivals, they offer a grand musical moment to bring to a close our anniversary celebration!
