Founded in the early 1990’s the young Belcea Quartet within a few short years has joined the circle of the elite and has conquered the international public. For its first performance in Lille, it will interpret Brahms’ highly elegiac Quartet No. 2, Mozart’s Quartet in F major K. 590, with its strikingly dark atmosphere, and Webern’s Five movements for string quartet, op. 5.
