Each year the Opera transforms itself for a weekend into a terrain of discovery and games for children, in particular for youngsters aged 7 to 14: interactive sound installations, board games, shows and fanfares invade every floor. Families looking fo r artistic discoveries or who are curious about new creations can come for a moment of ingenious fun and fantasy led by Zonzo Compagnie and Wouter Van Looy. This company from Antwerp (Belgium) will be joined by other groups dedicated to music from Lisbon (Portugal), Stavanger (Norway), Budapest (Hungary), Ghent and Brussels (Belgium), bringing the Lille Opera into the European Big Bang network, the European Adventurous Music Festival for Children. The keyword shared by all is to offer young people a festive day, combining musical surprises with the discovery of an architectural building.
