A refined and highly original doffing of the cap to the master of harmony, signed by accordionist Vincent Lhermet, who here takes Rameau by the boot straps! What more beautiful homage could he render than to invite five of today’s composers to respond, pen in hand, to the work of the great Jean-Philippe. Their creations alternate with 10 of the latter’s most magnificent pieces for harpsichord, which here are given ... a second wind!
